A fight for love, a fight against self,
In the heart's deep chambers, emotions stealth.
Battles waged in the silence of night,
In the realm of dreams, love takes flight.
Desolate musings, have left me weary without cause,
In the obscurity, misplaced in time's pause,
Across the landscape of the heart, echoes of love exists,
Was it all love in the end, the question persists.
A struggle within, a war unseen,
Between what is, and what could have been.
In the labyrinth of mind, amidst shadows dwell,
Stories of love, we silently tell.
